Cleaning and scrubbing will wait ’till tomorrow, but children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs! Dust go to sleep! I’m rocking my baby. Babies don’t keep. – Ruth Hamilton

A little Reality Check!

Yes, Mack is healing and for me that means we can get out and do things again, but in a split second everything can change!
For example, yesterday we decided to play and hang out on the patio. It was beautiful outside and we were having a blast...until Mack must have fallen on his bike and hit his head. After dinner we noticed a HUGE golf size bump on his forehead! And just like that, Mark and Mack were off to the ER.
So, yes Mack is getting better but things like going to the ER at 8:00 in the evening are still very much part of our lives.

It was a reality check that we still have a sick little boy. Everyday brings fear, but everyday also brings light to the end of a tunnel. After a rough night, we had a fabulous day!

We headed to the park and met Avery's class and teachers. She got to introduce her brothers and Mack fit right in. He will be more than ready next school year. We had lunch and met up with a family friend and Stephens lady-Amelia! We walked up to the Stephen's barn-luckily Amelia had a friend there that brought out Blondie, the miniature horse.

We were lucky to have a good day after not such a great night. Here's to a safe weekend and keeping Mack at home:)
