1,2...3? Three Children in Three Years!: Wow...What a Fair!

Our Saturday was packed! We built the compost bin and then, after naps, headed to the good ole Boone County Fair!

Mark and I weren't impressed, but our kids had a blast. They rode rides, ate funnel cake (and cotton candy), and saw some animals.

The rides were funny-Mack and Avery were the only kids who screamed out of delight on every ride. Their smiles were huge!

Poor Lincoln wasn't tall enough for any ride-he was not happy about this.

We were glad they had fun, but man fairs are expensive!!! I need to get Mark to the Minnesota State Fair-the BEST!!!!

Homemade Baby Food

1 lb of lean hamburger meat, 1 bag of frozen veggies, and 2 cups of cooked brown rice
2 cups of frozen fruit, 1 cup oatmeal, and 1 cup of greek yogurt (any flavor)
2 cups of cooked oatmeal, any frozen fruit blended together
2 grilled tuna steaks, 1 can peas, 1 can of corn, and one can of green beans mixed together
3 pears, 1 banana, 1 cup of yogurt (any kind). Boil the pears-when they are soft add them to the other items and mix together
1 lb ground turkey meat, 1 bag of frozen peas, carrots, and green beans. Use the water from the veggies and blend together
4 all natural chicken links, a bag of peas, and chicken broth to the right consistancy
2 chicken breast cooked, carrots and spinach!
1 Butternut Squash, 1 Banana, 1 Avacado=cook butternut squash in oven for 45 min. and peel off skin, then mash all other ingredients together
5 Pears, 1/2 cup Mangos, and1 can of Spinach-Heat on Stove and Mix together to a puree
2 cups of cooked oatmeal, any frozen fruit blended together
2 grilled tuna steaks, 1 can peas, 1 can of corn, and one can of green beans mixed together
